Approved English language tests

Proof of the language skills in the language of instruction for the study course or the preparatory course (without a preparatory language course as a true at least B2-level in the language of instruction). Only certificates approved by German government will be accepted.

FAQ’s

The Academic Evaluation Center (APS) – part of the German Embassy to India – appreciates your interest in taking up academic studies in Germany.

  • APS India is the first stop to verify the academic documents of the student.
  • Fees INR 18,000
  • Required for Bachelor’s and Master’s students

TestAS is a central standardised scholastic aptitude test which measures intellectual abilities particularly important for university studies. TestAS is intended for international study applicants planning to do undergraduate studies at German universities.

  • Fees EUR 150
  • Required for Bachelor’s students

The certificate validity is unlimited.

There is no maximum age limit to appear for the TestAS but the applicant has to be at least in the secondary level and completing his/her last year.

5-10 backlogs are only acceptable.

Up to 25 years for Bachelor’s and up to 30 years for Master’s age limit is acceptable.

Yes, University gives offer on the conditional basis subject to student fulfill the required conditions.

Two Intakes:

  • Winter – September / October
  • Summer – March / April

Yes, international students in Germany can apply for an 18-month post-study work visa to search for a job related to their field. After finding employment, you can transition to a work visa or Blue Card. This visa can lead to permanent residency after a few years of employment.
